Beyond the Shirt: Here is Exactly Where 10% of Your Order Goes

Unlocked Global Missions · Transparency

We want to start with one thing absolutely clear: ChristKeys is a mission-driven apparel company. Every item you purchase carries a specific, measurable promise: ten percent of every order is set aside for Unlocked Global Missions — our giving program supporting Bible translation and the persecuted Church worldwide.

We understand the skepticism. When a brand promises impact, customers rightfully ask: Is this real? Where does the money actually go? Here is the honest, complete answer.

What Unlocked Global Missions is — and what it is not yet

Unlocked Global Missions is the giving program of ChristKeys. It is not yet its own registered charity, and we will never pretend otherwise. We chose to start this way on purpose: rather than making claims we could not yet back, we built a simple, auditable pipeline — ten percent of every order is set aside, tracked in a public ledger, and granted to established frontline organizations that already do this work with excellence.

That also means we do not accept donations into the program at this stage, and nothing about your purchase is a charitable donation for tax purposes. You are buying apparel; we are tithing the revenue. If you want to give directly to the frontline — and receive a tax receipt from a registered charity — our Give page sends you straight to the organizations themselves.

Exactly where the ten percent goes

The tithe is granted quarterly to vetted partners. We verified every one of them against public records — current 501(c)(3) status and published financials — before a single dollar moves:

  • The Voice of the Martyrs — serving the families of imprisoned and martyred believers. Accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability since 1993.
  • Open Doors US — emergency relief and support for persecuted Christians in the world's hardest countries, and publisher of the World Watch List research we cite in our reports.
  • Wycliffe Bible Translators — putting Scripture into the languages still waiting for it. ECFA charter member with a platinum transparency rating.
  • unfoldingWord — open-licensed Bible translation tools for the global Church.

How we keep ourselves honest

  • A dedicated account. The ten percent is being moved into its own dedicated account, separate from operating money, so the tithe is never mixed with business expenses.
  • A public ledger. Every dollar in and every grant out is logged, and we publish a quarterly report: the total set aside, the date, recipient, and amount of every grant.
  • Verified partners only. No money moves to any organization we have not checked against IRS records and public financials.

The road ahead

Our intent is for Unlocked Global Missions to become an independent, registered nonprofit. We are not going to promise you a date — we are going to publish the numbers, grow the giving, and incorporate when the mission's scale calls for it. Until that day, the rule we live by is simple: we never claim to be a charity before we are one. The watchman's credibility is his life; ours is this ledger.

Your trust is our witness

When you wear ChristKeys, you fund two things at once: Scripture unlocked for languages that have never had it, and real support for believers who risk everything to keep it. Read what is happening on the wall in our Reports from the Wall — and thank you for choosing to wear your witness.
